The aim is to achieve a joint promotion of the commercial sector
Yesterday, the Government received the presentation of the latest developments in the Strategic Trade Plan, given by the acting Minister of the Presidency, Economy and Business, Jordi Gallardo, and the director of Intueri Consulting, Maria Segarra. The latter was the company in charge of deploying the plan.
The aim of this new action guide is to promote the country’s trade, as well as the projection of Andorra as a shopping territory, by boosting the competitiveness, innovation and digitization of the sector. “Together with the main actors involved, different working groups have already been launched to put together proposals and ideas around the promotion of the country as an area of commercial value”, explained Gallardo.
The few synergies between shops and cross-sales with other offers such as gastronomy, sport and leisure, or the forecast of further growth in the commercial area, have made the operational plan put on the table “the possibility of bring together the brands and commercial areas under a single communication concept, taking advantage of the strength of the Andorran brand”.
With proposals such as the launch of a web-app and digital application, as well as the enhancement of social networks, a new umbrella brand stands out in particular. “We want it to be representative of Andorran commerce in a broad sense and to become the common denominator that gives value and adds to the promotion that takes place both in the domestic market and abroad”, mentioned Segarra.
