We currently have an opening for a Bag Production Associate starting at $18.34/hour at the Beaverton Kraft Paper Bag facility. We are looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a long-term career in a fast-paced production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.

We offer competitive hourly rates for advancement as openings occur. Operator Tender at $19.61, Handle Bag Operator at $21.69 and Adjustor positions at $23.18 with applicable shift differential and overtime pay. The primary function of the Bag Production Associate is to move and palletize pre-wrapped bundles of bags at the discharge end of a bag production line.

Start out as a Production Associate and then train to become a Machine Operator!

We are also offering a $1500 sign on bonus to new hires:

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

$500 after 1 year and an additional bonus at 2 years

The Job You Will Perform:

· Follow print requisitions to stack 10-50 pound bundles on pallets

· Utilize vacuum lift to move the heavier bales from the discharge conveyor to the pallets

· Wrap bundles using Kraft paper, tape, and strapping machines

· Occasional use of manual pallet jack

· Sorting and lifting pallets

· Baling up to 5 machine lines per shift

· General housekeeping duties

· Other duties as assigned

Print Production Associate

We are currently seeking hourly Production Associates who have the abilities and aptitude to progress to the top job in each department. The starting wage is $20.45/hour, including any applicable shift differential. This job requires physical exertion in an industrial environment (examples include: standing, reaching, twisting, exposure to seasonal temperatures, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds).

Site Floater at $21.92, Set-up Operator $23.40 and Non-Press Operator positions at $24.60 with applicable shift differential and overtime pay. The Job You Will Perform:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Learn safety procedures such as Lock Out Tag Out, Emergency response, P.P.E, Chemical Handling.
  • Manage the ink being used to run an order
  • Put rolls on the unwinder and remove them from rewinder after printing
  • Perform assigned tasks during change-over to next order.
  • Physical requirements include: Lift up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, climbing stairs etc.
  • General housekeeping duties and COVID-19 sanitizing etc.

Production Associate – The Owl House 

The Production Associate works on a project through the completion of pre-production. As a PA, they are available to support the artists and production crew on all tasks during pre-production and production. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Gathering all artwork including character models, props and location designs for shipments to production facilities, including labelling, categorizing and creating final model packs for shipment.
  • Organizes asset files, uploads models to Insight, preps files for Background Painters and Color Designer.
  • Maintain all artwork files to be in standardized formats, including naming conventions.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of design lists as needed.
  • Take notes at assigned meetings – conference calls (BlueJeans) with Vendor, animation launches, etc.
  • Getting Director’s approval on artwork.
  • Providing any necessary materials for artists including reference.
  • Pulling “same as” artwork
  • Quality control for line quality in digital artwork
  • Communicating any delays to Production Manager or Supervisor immediately
  • Assisting in the archival of artwork once a production is complete
  • Make suggestions for streamlining and improving pipelines including ideas for re-use, workflow efficiencies, and flagging complexity issues.
  • Assisting in prepping materials for awards submissions
  • Update and maintain production art boards.
  • Maintains a helpful attitude, while showing eagerness and curiosity.
  • Helps organize morale events as directed by the Line Producer / Associate Producer or Production Manager/Production Supervisor.
  • Performing all other applicable duties as assigned by Line Producer or Production Manager

Library Newsletter Production Associate

We’re seeking an energetic, well-read person to help provide online information services to public and other library users across the United States. Work can generally be done from home, although occasional travel may be necessary. Position is half- to full-time depending on skills and other factors. Hours are variable, based on production schedule and demand.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and oversee software and systems collecting and distributing online information to libraries and library patrons
  • Assist in the obtaining, reviewing and editing of bibliographic data
  • Handle diverse inquiries from libraries and patrons and create solutions to address their needs

Shifts: 7:00am – 3:45pm

Schedule: Full Time Team members work 8 hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers. There is seasonal OT.

Production Associates ensure that each athlete we serve looks their best and compete with confidence. You-ll work in one of the following roles: Digital Print, Embroidery, or Screen Print. General responsibilities include:

  • Review work orders, observes specifications and any special notes and prepares work area to print multi-color work on garments.
  • Ensure that your machine and work area is cleaned during their shift and before shift end, including disposing all trash and plastic bags, cleaning ink spills, clean all used screens and squeegees by scrapping off excess ink and put in the proper area.
  • Maintenance of the machine includes ensuring that the press is kept clean and wiped down with press wash at least once per week.
  • Utilize all personal protective equipment as required for personal safety and the safety of their peers.
