Rajnath Singh, the nation's defence minister, claimed on Friday that he intended to enlist in the Indian Army but was unable to do so for familial reasons.
He stated that I had also taken an exam to enter the military while he spoke to the Assam Rifles and the 57th Mountain Division of the Indian Army.
He stated: "I want to share a tale from my youth. I once took the exam for the Short Service Commission since I also wanted to join the army.
I had passed the written test, but I was unable to enlist in the army since my father had passed away and I was experiencing other family issues."
